My Story
Hello, my name is Téja Lové Bradshaw - Richardson and I am the CEO of Infinity Beauty LLC. Infinity Beauty is a company that I established in 2020, when I was 15 years old. I have always had a passion for creating art and sharing it with others. As a child, I would spend hours crocheting blankets, scarves, and hats. My grandmother would then sell them, and I was always thrilled to receive letters from satisfied customers. It was amazing to know that people appreciated my work and found joy in something that I had created.
Since then, my love for creating has only grown stronger. I have continued to explore different forms of art and have discovered new ways to express myself creatively. I believe that art has the power to bring people together and inspire positive change. It is this belief that drives me to continue creating and sharing my work with the world.
During my sophomore year of high school, I began using lip gloss more frequently. However, I could never find one that I truly loved. As a result, I spent several days researching how to make lip gloss. I asked my dad to fund the necessary products, which he did. I made some products for myself and my friends, and they seemed to enjoy them. In fact, they even suggested that I start selling them. Soon after creating Instagram and TikTok accounts and launching my website online, I posted my products on my social media accounts. People from my school started ordering and enjoying them. After some time, one of my TikTok videos went viral, and I started getting sales very quickly. It was exciting to see orders coming from all over the United States, places I had never heard of or been to. Thousands of people were watching and following what I was creating. After I started to make a profit I continued to grow my brand.
Shortly after my business seemed to be really taking off, COVID-19 hit, which caused widespread disruption across the globe. As schools closed and people started to work from home, sales numbers began dropping, and my hope and motivation dwindled. Despite my best efforts to adapt to the new reality, the pandemic took its toll on my business, and I found myself struggling to keep it afloat. The challenges were overwhelming, and it was difficult to know what to do next. As a result, I lost hope in many things, including my business. Sadly, Infinity Beauty, formerly known as Love Accessories and Cosmetics, was unable to withstand the impact of the pandemic and had to close its doors in July 2021. It was a difficult decision, but I knew it was the right one for the long-term health of my business and my own well-being.
After graduating high school with a 3.7 GPA and receiving a senior award for excellence in business, I decided to pursue accounting as it was my passion. During my first year of college, I faced several challenges as I was adjusting to the new environment and responsibilities of being an adult. However, I persevered and slowly got my life back together. Along the way, I learned valuable lessons about time management, organization, and prioritization.
Now, I am more determined than ever to achieve my dream of becoming an entrepreneur and establishing a business that is recognized globally. To accomplish this, I have rebranded my business to reflect my personal values of maturity, purity, and self-reflection. By doing so, I aim to create a brand that resonates with my target audience and stands out in the competitive market.
At Infinity Beauty, I am committed to creating high-quality beauty products that are not only effective, but also ethically sourced and sustainable. I believe that beauty should be accessible to everyone, and I strive to make my products affordable without compromising on quality or ethics.
